We support you step by step through the visa application process so that you can live, work, or study in Germany. International students coming to Germany often need a visa – we help you meet all the requirements.

Language and student visa

In many cases, a visa is required to attend a language course or to pursue later studies.

• Language course visa: valid for 3 to 12 months, with at least 18 lessons per week.

• Student visa: requires a C1 certificate of the CEFR to be admitted to a German university.

With our PREMIUM intensive German course (20 lessons per week) you can optimally prepare and acquire the necessary language skills.

Visa application process

1. Registration at the Rahnschule for the PREMIUM intensive course (3–12 months).

2. Payment of the course fees and the visa processing fee (€250).

   • This includes: processing fee, official confirmation letter, course adjustments and express shipping (UPS/DHL).
